NFL Picks Week 11: Game-by-game predictions against the spread

Picking the NFL games for Week 11 against the point spread.

Pat Lovell-USA TODAY Sports

The Week 11 NFL Schedule kicks off Thursday night with the Tennessee Titans hosting the Indianapolis Colts. That means it is time for the Week 11 picks against the spread. Our man Jesse is MIA today, so yours truly will step in and make this week's picks. A word of warning -- I am awful at this.

Indianapolis Colts (-3) at Tennessee Titans. This is simple. I can't pick against Andrew Luck here. Pick: Colts

New York Jets at Buffalo Bills (-1). The Jets have Ed Reed now, you might just as well punch their Super Bowl ticket. Seriously, though, this is a weird game between two difficult to gauge teams. When the Jets (5-4) play well they are better than the 3-7 Bills. Pick: Jets

Baltimore Ravens at Chicago Bears (-3). The defending champion Ravens are 4-5 and trying to remain in the playoff race. Josh McCown will be quarterbacking the Bears again this week dur to Jay Cutler's high ankle sprain. Pick: Ravens

Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals (-6). The Bengals have lost two straight close games to the Miami Dolphins and to the Ravens. The Browns had a Week 10 bye after beating the Ravens in Week 9. I think six is too many points. Pick: Browns

Oakland Raiders at Houston Texans (-7). Coach Gary Kubiak will be back on the sidelines, an emotional lift for Houston. We saw last week against the Giants that the Raiders can't do much offensively unless Terrelle Pryor does it with his legs. Pick: Texans

Arizona Cardinals (-7) at Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars are no longer winless, but they are still no good. Pick: Cardinals

Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5). I am still not buying what the Eagles are selling this season, and I can't stop thinking about the Redskins coming from 3-6 to win the division a season ago. Pick: Redskins

Detroit Lions (-3) at Pittsburgh Steelers. These are not the Steelers of old, nor are they the Lions of old. Pick: Lions

Atlanta Falcons (-1.5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We know the Buccaneers stink. The 2-7 Falcons also apparently stink, but I can't believe they are that bad. Pick: Falcons

San Diego Chargers (-1.5) at Miami Dolphins. The Richie Incognito scandal has destroyed the Dolphins, and I don't believe they will recover this season. Pick: Chargers

San Francisco 49ers sat New Orleans Saints (-3). A heavyweight match-up here, and I have to go with the home team. Pick: Saints

Green Bay Packers at New York Giants (-6). I think the Giants win, but the way they have played this season six points is way too many. Pick: Packers

Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks (-13). This is a mismatch, but 13 points is still a lot to give away. Pick: Vikings

Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos (-8). I have a hard time believing that the spread on this game is a full eight points, especially with Peyton Manning and his gimpy ankle. Pick: Chiefs

New England Patriots at Carolina Panthers (-1). Put me on the Carolina bandwagon, at least Monday night. Pick: Panthers
