NFL Power Rankings 2013, Week 11: Giants crack top 20

Week 10 brought a handful of upsets among the top 10 teams, leading to an inevitable shakeup at the top of Big Blue View's NFL Power Rankings. What's more, Peyton Manning may be injured, meaning the future is a bit more bleak for the Denver Broncos, who could potentially be without their head coach and All-Pro signal-caller.

After settling close to the bottom of the rankings for most of the fall, the New York Giants finally crack the top 20 for the first time since the preseason. The team, of course, won its third in a row and has put itself back in the playoff hunt. In addition, the defense is playing as well as any unit in the league, and it seems as if the offense is coming around.

In the NFC East, Dallas and Washington both lost, while Philly and New York both won to keep the race very much alive. Both teams are just one game behind Dallas in the loss column. Dallas will be on bye Week 11, while Washington and Philadelphia square off in a pivotal divisional showdown.

Here are the Big Blue View Power Rankings for Week 11:

1. Denver Broncos (8-1): As long as Manning is healthy, the Broncos are just fine and deserve to stay at No. 1. (LW: 1)

2. Seattle Seahawks (9-1): Still doubting Seattle? Perhaps their dismantling of the Falcons in Atlanta convinced you otherwise. (LW: 2)

3. Kansas City Chiefs (9-0): Finally, the Chiefs get their shot to prove themselves to all of the doubters. They'll travel to Mile High for a prime time bout in Week 11. (LW: 3)

4. New Orleans Saints (7-2): Like Seattle, New Orleans was giving us a reason to doubt just how good they are. That was quickly put to rest Sunday night. (LW: 5)

5. Indianapolis Colts (6-3): If not for a tremendous second-half rally last week, this team might have lost two straight. You can't beat the elite teams then fall to the mediocre ones. (LW: 4)

6. Detroit Lions (6-3): We know Detroit can win in the shootouts, but this time they came out on top of a defensive battle. (LW: 8)

7. New England Patriots (7-2): A week off to get healthier and for Bill Belichick to fix some issues. Expect New England to rally in the second half of the season. (LW: 7)

8. San Francisco 49ers (6-3): Jim Harbaugh had two weeks to prepare for Carolina, at home nonetheless. Next week's matchup with the Saints will be a pivotal game playoff seeding-wise. (LW: 6)

9. Carolina Panthers (6-3): Is there any team hotter than the Panthers right now? Sunday was Cam Newton's signature win of the year thus far. (LW: 13)

10. Green Bay Packers (5-4): This team just needs to hold steady until Aaron Rodgers can return. (LW: 10)

11. Cincinnati Bengals (6-4): Back-to-back losses, now suddenly those doubts about the Bengals have returned. (LW: 9)

12. Chicago Bears (5-4): Jay Cutler probably should not have suited up, but his toughness cannot be denied. Hopefully, he didn't cost himself too much more time. (LW: 12)

13. Dallas Cowboys (5-5): The Cowboys play like they don't want to win the NFC East. (LW: 11)

14. New York Jets (5-4): Given the Jets' upcoming schedule, this team could make a run for the Wildcat, perhaps the division. (LW: 16)

15. San Diego Chargers (4-5): The Chargers have pivotal AFC showdowns with Denver, Cincy and Kansas City twice before season's end. (LW: 14)

16. Baltimore Ravens (4-5): Could the overtime win vs. the Bengals spark a mid-season run for the Super Bowl champs? (LW: 17)

17. Arizona Cardinals (5-4): Bruce Arians is changing the culture out in the desert. This team will be dangerous down the stretch. (LW: 19)

18. New York Giants (3-6): This defense continues to make game-changing plays on defense. The division is still within reach. (LW: 22)

19. Philadelphia Eagles (5-5): The Eagles are just fine as long as they don't play at the Linc. Their post-season aspirations could be decided with next week's bout with Washington. (LW: 23)

20. Miami Dolphins (4-5): Considering all of the issues off the field, the Dolphins could've used a win here. (LW: 18)

21. Tennessee Titans (4-5): It's a huge drop for Tennessee, which looks like it'll be without Jake Locker for the rest of the season. (LW: 15)

22. Pittsburgh Steelers (3-7): Their playoff hopes are all but over, but this team is still formidable. But will this Ben Roethlisberger tension have an impact? (LW: 27)

23. St. Louis Rams (4-6): Tavon Austin's coming out party? Plus, this defensive front four is among the best in football, so yeah, the future appears bright. (LW: 29)

24. Cleveland Browns (4-5): Can the Browns make some noise against the Bengals this week? (LW: 24)

25. Houston Texans (2-7): Stick a fork in 'em. (LW: 21)

26. Buffalo Bills (3-7): E.J. Manuel's return didn't help Buffalo at all. (LW: 20)

27. Washington Redskins (3-6): The Redskins' season comes down to this game against the Eagles, doesn't it? (LW: 25)

28. Oakland Raiders (3-6): The Raiders need to figure out how to win on the road. (LW: 26)

29. Minnesota Vikings (2-7): Just when Christian Ponder was playing well, he goes and gets hurt. (LW: 29)

30. Atlanta Falcons (2-8): What a drop-off for the No. 1 seed in the NFC a season ago. (LW: 28)

31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-8): This could've been Tampa's second straight win, but unlike last week they actually able to hold on this time around. (LW: 31)

32. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-8): Finally, Jacksonville gets a win. Unfortunately, that might not happen again this season. (LW: 32)
