The New York Giants (2-6) look for a third straight victory Sunday afternoon when they host the Oakland Raiders (3-5) at MetLife Stadium (1 p.m. ET/CBS). Despite an 0-6 start the Giants have continued to believe they can contend in the weak NFC East. A third straight victory Sunday would lend credibility to that argument.
"We can’t afford another loss going forward at all," defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka said. "We have to prepare for every game as though it’s our Super Bowl, because that’s the position we’ve put ourselves in. We always said that we still have an opportunity to win a championship but we have to take care of business. Taking care of business means winning every single game on our schedule."

To win the Giants will need to contain Oakland quarterback Terrelle Pryor, who leads all quarterbacks with 485 yards rushing.
"He’s a 4.4 guy built like a power forward on a basketball team and he can go. I’m impressed with him on tape. We’re going to have our A game going in to contain this guy because he can hurt you," said Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell.
Offensively, the Giants will hope Eli Manning can continue protecting the football. Manning had no interceptions in the team's two victories after throwing 15 in the first six games. The Giants will aim to exploit an Oakland defense torched by Nick Foles of the Philadelphia Eagles for seven touchdown passes last Sunday in a 49-20 Philly victory.
The Giants' offense should be bolstered by the return of running back Andre Brown, who will be active for the first time this season after suffering a fractured leg in the final preseason game.
The Giants will be wearing their alternate white pants for the first time this season.
