Unfortunately for the New York Giants they can't play against Minnesota Vikings' quarterback Josh Freeman every week. This Sunday when the Giants face the Philadelphia Eagles they won't get the luxury of facing one of the Eagles; two backup quarterbacks, either.
That is because Michael Vick, who has not played since injuring his hamstring in a Week 5 victory by the Eagles over the Giants at MetLife Stadium, is expected to start Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field vs. the Giants. The Eagles won that first meeting, 36-21.
Nick Foles played well taking over for Vick, helping the Eagles beat the Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but suffered a concussion in Sunday's 17-3 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Rookie Matt Barkley relieved Foles and threw three interceptions.
Sunday's game will be at 1 p.m. ET, and Big Blue View will have coverage for you all week. Be sure to check back regularly for everything you need to know.
