New York Giants' running back David Wilson will go to Los Angeles Monday for a second opinion on his neck, with various reports indicating that Wilson has spinal stenosis, which is a narrowing of the open spaces in the spine.

There have been a wide range of reports floating everything from the possibility Wilson could miss a couple of weeks to the idea he could miss the rest of the season or that his career could be in jeopardy.

"I'm just as clueless as you all are," Wilson said Friday.

Wilson will visit Dr. Robert Watkins in Los Angeles.for his second opinion.

"Best case, I'll be back after the second opinion. That's what I'm hoping and praying for because I feel perfectly fine. It really doesn't make sense to me right now. People say, "Oh, but it's the neck." But I feel like I'm fine. I'm willing to go out there and sacrifice and play with my team, this is what I love. That's my choice," Wilson said.

The second-year running back admitted that his "whole body went numb" on the play where he was hurt, when he was hit in the end zone during the Week 5 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Giants have suffered a rash of injuries at running back. Andre Borwn is on short-term IR due to a fractured leg and Da'Rel Scott suffered a hamstring injury on Thursday. The only healthy backs on the roster are Brandon Jacobs and Michael Cox.
