The New York Giants (0-5) face the Chicago Bears (3-2) in this week's Thursday Night Football match-up at Soldier Field in Chicago (8:25 p.m. ET, NFL Network). The Bears are 7.5-point favorites.

The Giants are 0-5 for the first time in a non-strike season since 1979. They are trying to avoid their first 0-6 start since 1976, when they finished 3-11.The Giants are also trying to avoid becoming the first team in NFL history to allow 30 or more points in their first six games.

The Bears won their first three games under first-year head coach Marc Trestman, but have lost to the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints the past two weeks.
