If you aren't yet aware of the whole Manti Te'o dead girlfriend hoax story, you can get caught up on what is known thus far over at SB Nation. You can see the original story on Deadspin.

For the purposes of New York Giants fans, safety Stevie Brown has already tweeted the pertinent question:

So, how about it Giants' fans? Te'o is an incredibly talented middle linebacker, a player many around Big Blue View have said they would like to see the Giants take with the 19th pick in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Does this give you pause? Te'o is claiming he was victimzized here, but there is some insinuation in the Deadspin reporting that Te'o may actually have been involved in the hoax.

Let's just use this is a discussion. Without trying to solve the riddle of what actually happened, the question is simple. Does this whole sordid mess make you hope the Giants stay away from the Notre Dame linebacker in the April draft? Or, does it not make any difference to you?
