2013 NFL Draft: What can the Giants expect at 49?

New, comments

Who will the Giants take at No. 49? Here is a brief history of the 49th pick.

The last time the New York Giants had the 49th overall selection in the NFL Draft was 1999, when they used it to select Joe Montgomery, a running back from Ohio State. That turned out to be a regrettable choice as Montgomery gained 348 yards as a rookie, but only 24 more over the next two years with the Giants and Carolina Panthers before washing out of the league.
