The 2013 NFL Draft is drawing closer. Here are some of the draft stories and rumors floating around that may impact the New York Giants as the clock ticks toward Thursday night.

- Tony Pauline of TFY Draft Insider says Tank Carradine's workout on Saturday was especially impressive just 135 days after surgery for a torn ACL.

- Is Syracuse offensive lineman Justin Pugh a dark-horse possibility for the Giants at No. 19? This tweet indicates NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock thinks so.

- Art Stapleton of The Record tweeted that the Giants have apparently been in touch with Mississippi State cornerback Darius Slay "a lot lately."

- Tom Rock of Newsday wonders if D.J. Fluker's energetiic personality would mesh with the team's other offensive linemen. Rock also noted that Bjeorn Werner said today that Florida State used to compare its defensive end depth to the Giants.

- Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel said personnel people from nine of 12 teams he asked said they would not touch LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu, either in the draft or afterwards as an undrafted free agent.
