Manti Te'o met with the New York Giants on Thursday, according to a report from Eric Hansen of Notre Dame Insider.

Despite the whirlwind of talk about Te'o, from the girlfriend hoax to his less-than-stellar performance at the Scouting Combine, several draft analysts still consider Te'o to be a player who could be in consideration for the Giants at No. 19, and who could be drafted by the Giants or any team after that interested in a linebacker.

ESPN's Mel Kiper said in recent conference call that Te'o could be in play for the Giants. In his most recent list of the top 100 NFL Draft prospects, Gil Brandt of NFL.com has linebacker Alec Ogletree of Georgia ranked No. 19 and Te'o No. 20. Our own Jesse Bartolis has Te'o much lower, 43rd on the Big Blue View Big Board. SB Nation's Mocking The Draft has Te'o 29th on its Big Board.

So, the split of opinion about Te'o -- and the prospective middle linebackers in general -- continues. Vote in our poll below and let us know you you would feel about Te'o to the Giants.

NOTE: 'Kudos' to Jesse for finding this tweet and passing it along this morning.
