The continuous choice of Notre Dame tight end Tyler Eifert for the New York Giants in NFL Mock Drafts has been wildly unpopular -- and considered unrealistic -- by many Giants' fans. When respected NFL analyst Pat Kirwan makes that choice, however, maybe it's time to to sit up and take notice.
That is precisely what Kirwan did in a mock draft for CBS Sports earlier this week. He wrote:
There are tight ends in the draft but Eifert is the best of the group and starts opening day.
Kirwan, on his SiriusXM radio show this week, backed that up by insisting that if Eifert is still available the Giants won't pass him up.
