I imagine [Carolina GM Dave] Gettleman will be happy to see Sheldon sitting here for him. He's got good value at 14 and fills an immediate hole on the Dline--overall, a nice blend of BPA and need. Richardson has a lightning quick first step and projects to be a 3 technique in a 4-3 scheme. I recommend reading BBI's film breakdown on Sheldon if you have a chance.

Valentine's View: Please commence booing 'slater,' if you have not done so already. Not because this is a bad pick -- but because it's a good one. Maybe too good. I know this tips my hand, but if Richardson had been on the board for me at No. 19 when it will be my turn to make the pick for the New York Giants I doubt he would have gotten past that pick. So, that shortens the list of players I would have been interested in for the Giants. Boooooooo 'slater.' Don't ask to participate next year.
