Let's look around the Inter-Google today at a variety of 2013 NFL Mock Drafts and see what analysts are thinking when it comes to what the New York Giants will do with the 19th overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
These are all recent mocks that take free agency into consideration. I have included the comments that accompanied some of the picks, but not all.
NFL.com/Jeremiah (3/20) -- Alec Ogletree, LB, Georgia
In making this selection, Daniel Jeremiah writes: "Ogletree is one of the best cover linebackers I've ever graded. He needs to get better at taking on blocks in the run game, but his ability to cover tight ends would give a huge advantage to any defensive coordinator. He'd fit perfectly in the Giants' scheme."
CBS Sports/Rang (3/18) -- Kenny Vaccaro, FS, Texas
Rob Rang writes: "The Giants solidified their secondary with the signing of free agent safety Ryan Mundy (Pittsburgh) and cornerback Aaron Ross, who played for the Giants from 2008-11 but was with Jacksonville last year. Nevertheless, more help is needed especially deep. Vaccaro has the toughness and versatility New York requires of their safeties and would offer solid value here."
CBS Sports/Brugler (3/18) -- Bjoern Werner, DE, florida State
CBS Sports/Kirwan (3/18) -- Werner
Pat Kirwan writes: "The Giants just signed Raiders tight end Brandon Myers, who is underrated. It permits the Giants to take the best available player, and they can never resist solid pass rushers. Werner had 35 sacks in 41 games."
CBS Sports/Prisco (3/18) -- Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame
CBS Sports/Judge (3/18) -- Vaccaro
CBS Sports/Brinson (3/18) -- Werner
Walter Football (3/19) -- Werner
Great Blue North Draft Report (3/18) -- Datone Jones, DE, UCLA
Draft Tek (3/21) -- Vaccaro
East Coast Sports/Fronczak (3/19) -- Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
Rotoworld/Norris (3/20) -- Jones
Josh Norris writes: "A perfect fit. Jones accomplishes exactly what the Giants look to do along their defensive line. He shows power and aggression from a wide alignment and wins with quickness on the interior."
