Training camp kicks up a notch for the New York Giants this week since they will finish the week with their first preseason game, a visit to Heinz Field to face the Pittsburgh Steelers Saturday, Aug. 10 at 7:30 p.m. ET. That game will be televised by Channel 4 in New York.

Before they open the preseason, however, the Giants have a short week of practices at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center. They are off on Monday, will practice Tuesday thru Thursday and will be off again on Friday as they travel to Pittsburgh.

As for players on PUP, guard Chris Snee might be close. No word on Terrell Thomas or Markus Kuhn, and Jason Pierre-Paul and Henry Hynoski are not expected back before the regular season begins.
