New York Giants Training Camp: Sunday 8/4 open thread

New York Giants training camp coverage for Sunday.

Jim O'Connor-USA TODAY Sports

The New York Giants will practice in solitude Sunday afternoon at Quest Diagnostics Training Center. Practice is closed to the public due to a soccer event being held across the parking lot at MetLife Stadium.

What is there to watch for today?

-- Head coach Tom Coughlin will return from Canton, Ohio, where he watched Bill Parcells be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Coughlin is sure to discuss that. Coughlin, incidentally, wasn't the only Giant on hand to see Parcells honored. Tight ends coach Mike Pope also went to Canton, as did many former Giants who played for Parcells.

-- Hakeem Nicks (groin), Corey Webster (groin) and Justin Pugh (concussion) remain unlikely to practice.

-- The Giants have unveiled some wrinkles on the defensive front, some with Cullen Jenkins at defensive end and others with Justin Tuck or Mathias Kiwanuka standing up and moving around. Will there be any more revealed today?
