The Justins should be back on the practice field when the New York Giants resume training camp work Monday afternoon at Quest Diagnostics Training Center. Head coach Tom Coughlin said Sunday that defensive end Justin Tuck (back) and offensive lineman Justin Pugh (concussion) were both ready to get back to work.
The Giants will practice Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, have Thursday off and practice on Friday. They will take Saturday off as they prepare for Sunday's second preseason game. This one will be at home as they face the Indianapolis Colts at MetLife Stadium. Game time is 7 p.m. ET.
Improving the run defense Coughlin was not happy with during Saturday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers is certain to continue to be a point of emphasis for the Giants. It will be interesting to hear if there is any shuffling on defense, especially at the linebacker spot. Based on Saturday, you might see Aaron Curry get more work with the first unit during practice.
