Nicks 'Definitely' Playing Sunday
Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks said Monday that had the Carolina game been on Sunday instead of Thursday he would have played. "If it was a regular Sunday and it was a normal week, I think I would've been able to go out there and compete," he said.
Nicks, who practices on a limited basis due to the broken foot he suffered in the offseason, said he "definitely" expects to play this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. [Full transcript]
Tuck Talks NFC East
The Giants are 0-1 in the NFC East heading into Sunday's game. Defensive end Justin Tuck recognizes the parity of the division.
"Every game takes on extra importance with us now. We've got a very tough division. It seems like every team is gonna be right there and have a shot at it, so we've just got to do our part in trying to keep pace with these guys and I'm hoping that we can do that this week," Tuck said.
