New York Giants - Tampa Bay Buccaneers Inactives: Prince Amukamara Out

Despite indications that New York Giants Prince Amukamara would play today, the Giants have listed him as inactive. The Giants are hoping that with another week of rest Amukamara might be able to make it through the season.

The other Giants inactives are: LB Keith Rivers, WR Jerell Jernigan, RB Da'rel Scott, DE Adewale Ojomo, OT James Brewer, and TE Adrien Robinson. Jernigan and Scott being inactive likely means that the return duties will remain the same as they were last week when David Wilson handled the kick off returns and Domenik Hixon handled the punt returns. Robinson played a few snaps last week, but will be out this week probably because the Giants need to carry all the defensive backs they can.

For the Buccaneers Starting RT Jeremy Trueblood is inactive. He got hurt in practice and was hoping to play through the pain. The other Bucs inactives are: CB Anthony Gaitor, CB E.J. Biggeres, RB Michael Smith, LB Najee Goode, T Derek Hardman, and DE George Johnson.

A side note-the Giants have announced that Jayron Hosley will start at cornerback and not Michael Coe, according to Mike Garafolo's twitter account.
