The New York Giants on Wednesday held their final practice prior to Friday's preseason opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. There really is little to report, as the practice was little more than a glorified walk-thru as the team prepared to face the Jaguars.

Let's run through the injury stuff.

Left tackle Will Beatty, linebackers Michael Boley and Jacquain Williams, running back Da'Rel Scott and defensive tackle Rocky Bernard did not practice.

Beatty is the biggest concern. Head coach Tom Coughlin did not dismiss the idea today of moving David Diehl back to left tackle if Beatty's back continues to be a problem. Sean Locklear is struggling on the left side and has much more experience playing the right. When he has practiced, second-year man James Brewer has also worked primarily on the right.

Practice Notes: Will Hill had the play of the day. Hill tipped and then hauled in a long, overthrown Ryan Perrilloux pass. Hill was covering tight end Ryan Purvis on a seam route.
