Q: How are you feeling?

A: I’m feeling alright. I feel like it’s getting a little better. I tried running a little bit today. It’s still not where I need it to be for me to go out there and work.

Q: Was it just sore?

A: Yeah. I mean, it’s been a pain, obviously, since the beginning of camp. So, it’s pretty frustrating to actually be out this long with a hamstring injury. So, I’m just hoping that the docs can give me some good news in the next couple of days.

Q: What’s your true level of concern right now, as far as getting back out there?

A: I’m very concerned about getting back out there. This is valuable time that I’m missing. Using this time to get my work with the first group, build that chemistry early, and it’s kind of frustrating, to be honest.

Q: Are you worried about not being back for the Cowboys opener? Or do you feel like that’s no problem?

A: We’ll see. Like I said, I’m just taking it one day at a time. I’m still trying to get better.

Q: Is it the same deal?

A: Same hamstring, different spot. So, it is what it is.

Q: Is there anything you can do, besides wait for medical…

A: Keep getting treatment. Hopefully, it works out.Q: Is there a point where you say, "Unless I’m healthy by this day, I can’t go for September 5th?"

A: No.

Q: So, if you’re healthy-

A: I’m definitely not ruling that out.

Q: Michael, I apologize if this has been asked before, but is this related to what you were going through last year? Is this the same hamstring?

A: Same hamstring, different spot.

Q: When they ran…up in camp…

A: …Didn’t see me doing anything… Your body knows when there’s something you can’t do.

Q: Today was the first day you were in?

A: First day in a while.

Q: When you came back from those first couple of practices, was that a tease for you? Did you think that you were over this?

A: Yeah. It kind of sucks to actually come back, and ease your way back into things, then have to sit out again. It feels frustrating.
