Big Blue View Preseason All-NFC East Team: Full Team Revealed

Voting has concluded for our Big Blue View 2012 Preseason All-NFC East Team. I must say I'm not surprised, even a little bit, by the number of New York Giants voted to the team who don't truly belong. I doubt that if you are honest with yourself you can look at this team and say the voting results truly indicate the best players at each position heading into the 2012 NFL season.

I am certainly not chastising those of you who took the opportunity to vote, but I think that especially when you look at the defense on this team you can easily argue that several of the Giants voted in really don't belong.

There are two spots I find particularly incorrect. Let's be real, I know you guys love Terrell Thomas. But, how do you vote for Thomas -- who did not play last year and faces a fight for his starting job -- before you vote for Nnamdi Asomugh? The second is outside linebacker, where Mathias Kiwanuka was the second-leading vote-getter. I understand Kiwanuka's value, but how do you vote for Kiwanuka before you vote for Michael Boley? And how do you vote for either Giant and bypass Washington's Brian Orakpo?

You can also argue that Justin Tuck and Antrel Rolle should be replaced based on what they did, or did not do, a season ago.

Anyway, this was just meant to be a fun offseason exercise. Below is the full team you voted for.
