New York Giants News and Notes: Less Than a Week to Camp Edition

Good morning fellow Giants fans. There are just six days until the start of training camp for the Giants in Albany, New York, and you just know Tom Coughlin is willing his players to stay out of trouble this coming weekend. So far it's been a quiet news cycle since mini-camp broke in mid-June, and it will be time to get down to business starting next week. So let's see if there is anything worth telling you about this morning....

So who's number one in the preseason rankings coming into the 2012-13 season? Well it's hard to ignore the New York Giants, even though it seems many experts are doing just that. The Giants are the defending champions and had one of the greatest playoff runs on their way in claiming the crown last season, but for some reason they always seem to get looked at as the third or fourth best team.

The Patch is a physical training course inspired by those used by the United States Military.
