We have reached the middle linebacker position, of what is commonly referred to as the 'MIKE' in today's football parlance as we name our 2012 Big Blue View Preseason All-NFC East Team.

Here are your nominees.

Sean Lee, Cowboys -- Had 103 tackles and four interceptions last season, his second in the NFL. Compiled a Pro Football focus Rating of +13.9.

DeMeco Ryans, Eagles -- Acquired in a trade by the Eagles over the offseason, Ryans is a 27-year-old two-time pr Bowler coming off a pair of sub-par seasons for him. Played only six games in 2010 and had no sacks and 71 tackles last season. Ryans had a +6.8 PFF grade last season.

London Fletcher, Redskins -- After 14 years in the league, Fletcher is still an elite player. Had 96 tackles, 1.5 sacks, eight passes defensed and 2 forced fumbles last season. Compiled a +19.8 PFF score, eight in the league among middle linebackers.

Jonathan Goff, Redskins -- The former New York Giant is a member of the Redskins now after missing last season with a knee injury.

Chase Blackburn/Mark Herzlich/Keith Rivers, Giants -- I have no idea which guy ends up playing the most snaps at middle linebacker for the Giants this season. So, I put all three of them in here.
