New York Giants News And Notes: Schedule Release Tuesday Night

Good morning, New York Giants fans! Let's see what is making news on this gorgeous Tuesday morning.

The NFL will release the full-league schedule Tuesday night, and will do so with all the pomp and circumstance it can muster. NFL.com and the NFL Network will air three hours of schedule release coverage beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

We know that the defending Super Bowl champion Giants (I know you guys love reading that phrase) will kick off the season on Wednesday, Sept. 5 against the Dallas Cowboys (NBC, 8:30 p.m. ET).

We already know the Giants' 2012 opponents.

Home -- Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers.

Away -- Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and San Francisco 49ers.
