Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts are parting ways. There are lots of potential landing spots, including a couple that directly impact the New York Giants.
Among the teams expected to pursue Manning are the New York Jets and Washington Redskins. If it comes down specifically to those two teams, what would you be bothered by more, Giants fans? MetLife Stadium being inhabited by two Mannings? Eli and Peyton squaring off twice every season in NFC East matchups?
Manning to the Jets would certainly be fun, in a way. Although I'm not sure anything that makes the Jets better and gives Rex Ryan more excuses to talk is something I really want to deal with. Manning to the Redskins would make nice 'Manning vs. Manning' headlines a couple of times per season, but I'm not sure I would enjoy that at all. The Redskins have beaten up on the Giants enough lately, even without a decent quarterback.
