Our Big Blue View 2012 Community Mock Draft has reached the ninth overall selection. That means it is time for 'JINTSGM,' playing the role of GM for the Carolina Panthers, to select. His choice, and reasoning, are below.

No. 9 Carolina Panthers -- Quinton Coples, DE, UNC

With the 9th selection Carolina Panthers select UNC DE Quinton Coples. While DT is arguably the bigger need and they likely want another weapon at WR for Cam Newton, there are no surefire value picks at those positions. Coples is the Bluest chip on the board and will combine with Charles Johnson for a fearsome pass rush. -- JINTSGM
