The Star-Ledger is reporting that New York Giants assistant offensive line coach Jack Bicknell Jr. will leave the Giants to become offensive line coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. The move has yet to be officially announced by the Chiefs.
So, that is two offensive assistant coaches down for the Giants. Quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan became offensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneeers just a few days ago.
Bicknell Jr. had served as assistant offensive line coach for the Giants for the past three seasons.
The Star-Ledger's Mike Garafolo, who apparently has forgotten to take his foot off the gas and slow down just a tad with this being the offseason and all, also reported that the Giants missed out on a potential replacement for Sullivan when Alex Van Pelt chose to join the Green Bay Packers coaching staff.
I have no idea what the Giants will do to replace Bicknell Jr., although I am sure head coach Tom Coughlin has a list of potential candidates. For the sake of discussion, let me drop a name on you. What about Rich Seubert?
