Super Bowl XLII Memories: A Look Back At The BBV Archives, 2008 Prediction

I haven't done one of these in a couple of days, but as the buildup to the 2012 Super Bowl continues let's look back once again into the BBV archives and talk about the run-up to Super Bowl XLII.

I will never hear the end of picking the Green Bay Packers to beat the Giants this season in the divisional round. I have been picking the Giants this week in my various radio appearances. And I did pick them to win the Super Bowl against the Patriots the first time around. That link is below.

They shouldn't, but the Giants will find a way to win

Here is what I wrote:

I have been trying to convince myself to come right out and say it for a while now, so here it is -- the Giants are going to win on Sunday.

Why not?

There is no logical argument you can make that shows that the Giants are a better football team than the 18-0 juggernaut known as the New England Patriots. But, there is also no reason the 12-point underdog Giants can't do this.
