Little Ceasars Pizza Bowl: NFL Draft prospects to watch

A look at the 2013 NFL Draft Prospects to watch in tonight's Little Ceasars Pizza Bowl between Central Michigan and Western Kentucky.

Who is playing: Central Michigan vs. Western Kentucky
: Wednesday, Dec. 26
7:30 on ESPN

The Little Ceasars Pizza Bowl, a game no one really cares about, features a potential first-round prospect in the 2013 NFL Draft and a couple of other late-round guys who are likely special team guys in the NFL.

Western Kentucky’s best 2013 draft prospect is defensive end Quanterus Smith. Western Kentucky also features potential training camp invites in tight end Jack Doyle and guard Adam Smith.

Eric Fisher of Central Michigan is where the money is at in this game. Fisher is a terrific offensive tackle prospect. Former Central Michigan offensive linemen Joe Staley was drafted in the first round, and Fisher looks like he will join that very exclusive fraternity. Fisher is a 6-foot-7, 305-pound athlete who is an excellent pass protector and developing run blocker. The biggest knock on him is his pad-level (that’s always a question on offensive linemen this tall) and his competition. Still even with those questions hearing his name called in Round 1 looks likely. Is he a target for the Giants? I"m not so sure. The Giants have a penchant for drafting players from BCS schools early in the draft, and Fisher is similar to Will Beatty. I think the Giants are more likely to look at a massive interior offensive lineman, or a guy they think can play right tackle next year while he develops into a stud left tackle, but we shall see what happens with Will Beatty.

Safey Jahleel Addae is another draftable prospect, but we’re looking at day three (rounds 4 through 7) for him.

Quarterback Ryan Radcliff looks like he could get a shot as a training camp invite.
