Jason Pierre-Paul did not practice Friday for the New York Giants due to a back issue, but head coach Tom Coughlin said that Pierre-Paul would be expected to be ready for Monday night's game against the Washington Redskins.
"His back is bothering him so we thought we’d hold him," Coughlin said.
Offensive tackle David Diehl (shoulder) and running back Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) missed practice for the second straight day for the Giants.
Several Giants -- center David Baas, wide receiver domenik Hixon, linebacker Jacquian Williams, safety Kenny Phillips and cornerback Jayron Hosley -- were limited.
Phillips aggravated a knee injury during Sunday's victory over the Green Bay Packers -- the first game he had played since Week 4. Coughlin said he thought Phillips "made some progress today."
Here is the complete injury report.
