Good morning, New York Giants' fans! Here is your Wednesday morning notebook.

There are a couple of items to get to before we hit the links. First, quarterback Eli Manning is among this week's nominees for the FedEx Air NFC Offensive Player of the Week. You can vote Manning at NFL.com/FedEx until 3 p.m. ET on Friday. Second, when the Giants announced the signings of running backs Kregg Lumpkin and Ryan Torain they waived offensive tackle Selvish Capers to make room on the 53-man roster.

Now, on to the links.

Giants' Antrel Rolle says the defense needs to be more physical against Redskins' rushing attack | NJ.com
"Well, I think we have to be more dominant," Rolle said today in a radio interview on WFAN. "We have to understand how to try to attack them and how they're going to try to come downhill and make sure we're the most physical group on the field. That's pretty much it: Winning your battle, do your job and make sure you're the most physical football team and everything else will take care of itself."
