The New York Giants are fourth in the league in yards per game (396.8) and third in points per game (29.2). This, though, does not seem to be a good time to ask offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride for a state of the offense summation.
"We didn't have a great game [against Dallas], so this is not a great time to be asking me. If you had asked me a couple of weeks ago, I would have said we're playing great. We didn't have our best game this last week and I certainly have to give Dallas a lot of credit for that. I think we certainly had plays out there to be made," Gilbride said. "I think we can be better in every area, to be honest with you."
Gilbride was asked if David Diehl, who began the season as the starting right tackle, would reclaim that job.
"I don't think we've made a decision, but they've pass protected very well," Gilbride said. "They're doing a pretty good job. So, it's hard to make a change, because of that."
[UPDATE: Apparently, the Giants have made a decision. Diehl is reportedly going back into the starting lineup.]
