Giants' injury report: Thirteen again an unlucky number

Thirteen players were on the injury report the New York Giants released Wednesday.

New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin said today that he is hopeful wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, who has missed three straight games with foot and knee issues, will practice this week.

"It's like every other week. Hopefully, he'll get a practice in," Coughlin said.

Thirteen players are on the New York giants' Wednesday injury report for the second consecutive week. Missing practice Wednesday were:

Chase Blackburn (hip), Martellus Bennett (knee). Andre Brown (concussion), Nicks (foot/knee), defensive tackle Rocky Bernard (quadriceps) and safety Kenny Phillips (knee).

Jayron Hosley (hamstring), Corey Webster (hamstring), Antrel Rolle (knee) and David Diehl (knee) are limited.

Wide receiver Ramses Barden (concussion) and linebackers Michael Boley (hip) and Keith Rivers (hamstring) were expected to practice.
