Over at Bleeding Green Nation 'JasonB' has put together a 'Game in GIFs' post from the Philadelphia Eagles perspective. Well, we don't need to belabor the Giants' 19-17 loss any more than necessary, but I thought it might be interesting to look at most of those same GIFs from the Giants' perspective.
So, let's give it a whirl.
Brian Dawkins was honored by the Eagles before the game. I know this was his 'Wild Man' routine from his playing days, but is this any way for a grown man and retired player to act?
Great move on Kenny Phillips by LeSean McCoy. This is, I'm sure, embarrassing for Phillips. Since Phillips hurt his knee on the play it could wind up being much more significant than that.
Where, oh where, are you, Corey Webster?
If you are going to get a holding penalty you might as well not leave any doubt, and Will Beatty didn't. Unfortunately for the Giants, I believe this would have been a 38-yard completion to Martellus Bennett.
McCoy did this to the Giants' defense the entire second half. Killing New York with the cut back.
Yes, this was pass interference. And yes, it killed the Giants' chances of winning. Whether you want to blame Ramses Barden or Eli Manning is up to you, but this play was a killer. Because it led to this ...
The Giants are now 2-2, 0-2 in the division for the first time since 1996.
