BBV Community Mock Draft 2011: Martez Wilson, Ryan Mallett Off The Board

Two more picks are now on the board today in the second round of our Big Blue View Community Mock Draft. Here they are:

Cleveland (37th overall) -- Martez Wilson, OLB, Illinois

Projects as a solid pro with a very high ceiling playing in a position of need. -- Bobely

Arizona (38th overall) -- Ryan Mallett, QB, Arkansas

I TOLD LARRY NOT TO WORRY! Fitz we have you in mind all the time. If we Arizona can get this kids head straight we might've gotten a massive steal and Ryan hands down is the most pro ready QB of all the QB's coming out this year, his ceiling might not be as high as the other QB's but that's all speculation. Like I had said earlier in the draft to me Ponder and Mallett are the best QB's in this draft so we're celebrating in the War room down here in Arizona. --gmen2thebowl

My take: I already nabbed Akeem Ayers, so this pick doesn't bother me. Targeting an outside linebacker is a good idea for the Browns, but I'm not sure about Wilson. I keep reading reports that basically say laud Wilson's athleticism but criticize his instincts and his actual ability to make plays.

A great scenario for Arizona, grabbing Mallett. Who becomes a stud and who becomes a dud out of this quarterback class remains to be seen, but nabbing one of the top guys at this point is a good haul for the Cardinals.
