BBV Community Mock Draft 2011: Two More Picks Are In

Two more picks have been made in the Big Blue View Community Mock Draft, and we are now just three picks away from completing our two-round mock draft. The selections for New England at No. 60 anbd San Diego at No. 61 are below.

New England Patriots (60th overall) -- Greg Little, WR, North Carolina

With Team Belichick rolling out Deion Branch as a #1 WR and seeing how badly they needed an upgrade, I choose WR Greg Little of UNC giving Tom Brady a big physical strong-handed target.

The other players I strongly considered were CB Aaron Williams and versatile OL Clint Boling,all three would seem to be great fits in Foxboro. -- ShaunTheGiant

San Diego Chargers (61st overall) -- Ras-I-Dowling, CB, Virginia

The Chargers get an extra pick in the 2nd round thanks to the Cromartie trade. With the D-Line and WR positions already addressed, let's take a flier with Ras-I Dowling to help in the defensive backfield. Considered a lock to be a first-round pick coming into the 2010-11 season at Virginia, he was hampered by a leg injury and started only two games. But he ran a 4.4 at the combine before spraining his hamstring. Could be a steal here if his legs can hold up. -- Anthony P.

My take: I really like the Dowling selection. Under different circumstances I would have considered him for the Giants at 52. I'm not sure about the selection of Little for New England. Wide receiver is not a bad idea, but is Little the best one? I really don't know.
