BBV Community Mock Draft 2011, Second Round: Tampa Bay Pick Is In

I would not ordinarily drop a pick in our Big Blue View Community Mock Draft this far into the evening, but 'willgfass' has quickly gotten me Tampa Bay's selection at 51. Knowing you guys are anxious to see what I will do with the New York Giants pick at No. 52 I figured I would get this one out there.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (51st overall) -- Sam Acho, DE, Texas

Seeing as if I don't pick a defensive end I'll be killed again, I looked hard for one. A ridiculous 1/10th of the draft so far have been Defensive ends, and something like a third of the picks so far were defensive linesmen. I don't have the numbers to back me up, but I'd bet that's a lot higher than in past years.

The reports I could find of Acho is that he's more of pass rushing guy, not a Justin Tuck or Trent Cole guy good vs the run and the pass. Seeing as the Bucs were 3rd to last in sacks, he seems like a good guy to help fix these problems.

My take: In all honesty I know nothing about this player. A quick study, though, makes me feel like this is a reach for a player at a position of need.

So, go ahead and start trying to figure out what I am going to do at No. 52. Or, make your last-minute pleas for the player you really want to have. I know who I'm taking ... unless you talk me out of it.
