New York Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell will interview Saturday for the vacant head-coaching position with the Tennessee Titans, according to a published report. This will be Fewell's fourth interview for a head-coaching job this offseason. He previously interviewed in Denver, Carolina and San Francisco.

Fewell is not considered a favorite to land the position. Currently the leading candidate to replace long-time Titans coach Jeff Fisher is Titans' offensive line coach Mike Munchak.

Mike Mularkey, former Buffalo Bills head coach and current Atlanta Falcons' offensive coordinator, is scheduled to interview today with Tennessee owner Bud Adams.

Pro Football Talk reported this morning that Adams does not want to pay big money, by NFL standards, for a new coach. The candidate list would seem to indicate that is correct.

Still, all of this actually looks like good news for the Giants. Fewell seems like a real long shot to get the Tennessee job, little more than a minority candidate filling the Rooney Rule requirement.
