We've profiled 12 players signed to reserve/future contracts by the New York Giants. Without further ado, here's the 13th, defensive back Woodny Turrene.
Listed at 5-foot-11, 185 pounds, Turrene played college football at Louisville before going undrafted in 2009. The Chicago Bears gave him a shot in training camp, but he ended up on their practice squad in October.
Last September, Turrene was waived. The Giants signed him to their practice squad in November and then to a reserve/future contract in January.
With the Bears, Turrene's size and instincts impressed in training camps. One Bears beat writer even likened him to Green Bay Packers DB Al Harris. Given the fact that the Giants signed two other players to reserve/future contracts and the already crowded depth chart at the position, Turenne doesn't figure to be long for New York.
