No real surprises today on the New York Giants' injury report. Nine players did not practice at all, and wide receiver Mario Manningham (knee) and cornerback Prince Amukamara (back) were limited.
The nine who did not practice include David Baas (neck/headaches), Michael Boley (hamstring), Ahmad Bradshaw (foot), Mark Herzlich (ankle), Spencer Paysinger (hamstring), Brandon Jacobs (hamstring), Kenny Phillips (knee), Dave Tollefson (knee) and Osi Umenyiora (knee/ankle).
Head coach Tom Coughlin had no update on Baas, the starting center who has been suffering neck pain and severe headaches. He said that Jacobs and Bradshaw are scheduled to practice on Friday.
Manningham has missed the last two games, but Coughlin sounded optimistic that he could return Sunday.
"He has practiced for two days. He looks good. He looks sharp. He looks quick," Coughlin said. "Hopefully there is no issue the next day. That is what you worry about. The swelling."
Linebacker DeMarcus Ware is listed as not having participated in practice Thursday for the Dallas Cowboys due to a stinger. Blogging The Boys, however, reports that Ware did practice.
