NFL Week 12: Today's Games

There are three games on today's NFL schedule that could potentially impact the New York Giants, who play the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football.

One of those is the 4-6 Philadelphia Eagles hosting the New England Patriots. Last week's victory over the Giants left the Eagles clinging to the periphery of the NFC playoff race. A victory today by the Patriots could pretty much knock the Eagles off the playoff cliff, which the Giants failed to do a week ago.

Atlanta (6-4) hosts Minnesota. This game, of course, could affect the Falcons' wild-card playoff hopes. Atlanta could still catch 7-3 New Orleans, but they could also end up fighting the Giants for a wild-card playoff berth.

The third game is 7-3 Chicago at Oakland. The Bears have lost quarterback Jay Cutler, and now we see if they can hang on to a playoff spot with Caleb Hanie playing quarterback. Again, this affects the Giants as it would be nice to see the Bears slide back a bit.
