Here are your Friday morning New York Giants news and notes. By the way, you had to know a Miami victory over Dallas on Thanksgiving Day was too much to hope for.
The Giants released an injury report Thursday, and right tackle Kareem McKenzie's name was surprisingly on it. McKenzie apparently has a toe injury, the severity of which is unknown. He hasn't exactly played well much of the season, but all the Giants would need is for McKenzie to be out Monday against the New Orleans Saints. Will Beatty's absence is a big enough problem. The full injury report is below:

Left tackle Will Beatty underwent surgery today to repair a detached retina in his right eye.
The Giants provided no update, but a source familiar with the situation said the surgery "went well" and how Beatty heals will determine whether he will return before the season ends.
He could miss a few weeks or even the rest of the season.
