Mathias Kiwanuka Press Conference, Giants-Eagles Post-Game

Q: What went wrong on that drive where the Eagles drove 80 yards?
A: Obviously we have to go back to the film. When you're up in there it's tough to get a true idea unless it was your fault. We'll figure it out tomorrow and have a better answer for it.

Q: Are you disappointed in this loss?
A: It's very disappointing. The only bright side that I can think of is that we still have a lot of games to play. As long as we come back strong with a better mindset, get ready to play tougher then we can still control our destiny going down the stretch. But we can't put too many quarters like that together and expect to be successful.

Q: Were you disappointed in the energy and enthusiasm?
A: We came out fired up and were ready to go. There were some execution problems and mistakes here and there. But that happens throughout the course of the game. Regardless of that, we need to overcome. Things that we were doing so well during those wins were closing out the games and figuring out exactly what needed to be done just to get the win, regardless of the situation, regardless of what had gone wrong, but we didn't do that.

Q: Were you confident when they took over on the twenty yard-line?
A: Confidence doesn't get it done all the time. You still have to go out there and back it up and perform. Like I said, we're going to go back and look at the film. We're not going to hold our heads down too long. It hurts tonight. We're going to take our lumps. They gave them to us. We have to give them credit. After we're done watching this film and making all of the corrections, we'll be the Giants that we were before. And we'll get back to winning.
