New York Giants Injuries: David Baas Out, Brandon Jacobs, Justin Tuck Doubtful

New York Giants center David Baas (neck) will not play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, coach Tom Coughlin said Friday. Also, running back Brandon Jacobs (knee) and defensive end Justin Tuck (groin/neck) did not practice and are listed as doubtful. Coughlin said Tuck groin injury is what is keeping him out currently.

Kevin Boothe will start at center, and D.J. Ware is likely to see more action if Jacobs can't go. That probably would also mean seventh-round pick Da'Rel Scott would be active for the first time in five games.

By the way, want a little insight into what it feels like the day after playing in an NFL game? Here is Osi Umenyiora talking about what he felt like Monday after playing against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

"The next day I felt like I was in hell. It was the worst I've ever felt in my life," Umenyiora said. "I wanted to, I can't even tell you, but as it progressed it got better and better. That was my first real physical contact in 10 months."
