How could this week's New York Giants game ball go to anyone other than quarterback Eli Manning? I really don't see how it could.
Manning went 27-of-40 for 321 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday in a 31-27 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Need more? Try 14-of-17 in the fourth quarter for 180 yards and both touchdowns, including the game-winning 29-yard laser to Hakeem Nicks. He had a 108.4 passer rating for the game. He did all of this, incidentally, with the Giants averaging 2.2 yards per rushing play.
Manning has been spectacular since the second half of Week 2 against the Rams. He is 59-of-85 (69.4 percent) for eight touchdowns and no interceptions in that time frame. Argue about what he is all you want, right now he is without doubt playing at an elite level.
The Giants have won all three of those games during Manning's hot streak.
