Giants By The Numbers: 57 Is For ...

Corey Miller.

Miller was a starting linebacker for the New York Giants for seven season, 1991-98. His best season was 1993, when he had 61 solo tackles, 6.5 of his 14 career sacks, four forced fumbles and 2 interceptions. He was a sixth-round pick in 1991, proving that you can get solid players in later rounds of the NFL Draft.

Other Notables Who Wore 57

  • Byron Hunt was a reserve linebacker with the Giants from 1981-88.
  • Chase Blackburn is, of course, a current reserve and terrific special teams player.

As always, if someone is aware of an old-timer I have overlooked who wore 57 -- particularly a pre-1950 Giant, let me know.
