Giants By The Numbers: 36 Is For ...

Mark Haynes.

A cornerback, Haynes was a two-time All Pro in six seasons with the Giants from 1980-85. He finished his career by playing four seasons in Denver. He was the Giants first-round selection (8th overall) in 1980.

Haynes played in the Pro Bowl three times as a Giant. He played in the Super Bowl three times in his four seasons in Denver.

The other player who deserved consideration here was safety Shaun Williams, the Giants first pick (24th overall) in 1998.

Williams played eight of his nine seasons with the Giants. He had a good, though not great, career. His last several seasons were plagued by knee injuries that slowed hims signficantly.
