Giants By The Numbers: 47 Is For ...

Greg Jackson.

Search your memory banks for Jackson (I know you are if the name did not immediately ring a bell), and you will remember him as a starting safety on the 1990 Super Bowl-winning team.

He fits in the category of 'pretty good but ever great' player. He started for the Giants from 1989-93, then went on to play seven more productive NFL seasons with the Eagles, Saints and Chargers.

An anamoly in Jackson's career is that he has four quarterback sacks. All with the Giants, and all in the 1990 season. He also picked off five passes that year.
