Ralph Vacchiano had a piece Tuesday stating that New York Giants' running back Ahmad Bradshaw is back in jail serving another 30-day sentence.

This is not a new thing for Bradshaw. This is the end of a saga that began last off-season when he served the first 30 days of a 60-day sentence for a violation that occurred when he was a juvenile.

Hopefully, this is the end of Bradshaw's run-ins with the legal system. With Derrick Ward likely gone next season, the Giants need Bradshaw to be more productive than he was in 2008.

  • Here is Todd McShay's preview of the NFL scouting combine. Giants fans should pay particular attention to what McShay has to say about Maryland wide receiver Darius Heyward-Bey. It pretty much echoes what my pal Rick Snider had to say about Heyward-Bay recently.

  • Over at Giants.com, Michael Eisen has begun a very intriguing multi-part series on pro football scouting. It's a great read on what it is like to live the life of an NFL scout.
