The Giants held their final practice in Albany Saturday. Here, from Mike Garafolo, is your practice report.
Here are some other stories making the rounds as the Giants break camp.
- The Giants are losing patience with third-round draft pick Mario Manningham, who has missed considerable practice time with a quad injury. "We just don't see anything," Coach Tom Coughlin said of Manningham, who has not practiced since July 28 with a strained quad and missed time in the spring with a hip flexor. "He can't practice, so you go on everything you understood about him when you drafted him. He's in every meeting, he does all that, but he doesn't get to rep it. For a young guy, they need to do that."
- Michael Jennings has not lost any of his flamboyance.
- Kevin Boss "excited for the opportunity" to replace Jeremy Shockey.
- Giants get new inspirational T-shirts.
